gstreamer-dbus-media-service software package provides Media service for Ubuntu Mobile, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gstreamer-dbus-media-service
gstreamer-dbus-media-service is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gstreamer-dbus-media-service package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gstreamer-dbus-media-service *
You will get with gstreamer-dbus-media-service package name, version, architecture and description in a table
